Lunch Restaurant Review 1: Maui Tacos
This is the first in a series of blog entries that I will be making. I wanted to write about some of the places my work friends and I often visit for lunch. We work in Midtown Manhattan and go out to eat almost every day. It can get quite expensive eating out every day so we look for places that don’t cost much more than $10 but are good, somewhat healthy choices.
Let’s start our first restaurant review
Today we ate at a place called Maui Tacos. Me and Dave go here maybe twice a month. We’d probably go more often but it’s been winter for the last 6 months and this location is a little bit further than our other normal lunch-time eateries. Now it is Springtime so we’ll probably go a little more often.
Maui Tacos has kind of meshed Hawaiian flavor with Southern California Mexican food. For

Three or four days a week a work friend (David Lantner) and I go out to eat for lunch. We work in Midtown, NYC and started working for our company at about the same time. Over this time we have managed to add seven or eight “go-to” lunch restaurants but lately we have wanted to add to our arsenal. This morning I was Googling for something like “Midtown NYC lunch restaurants” which returned a few results but nothing special. I also Googled around a bit looking specifically for a nice, inexpensive Jewish deli. There is a very nice Jewish deli a couple of blocks away but it is a bit pricey and for me it’s not as great as everyone makes it out to be. So we didn’t find any other delis (I didn’t look very hard) but I did
